Introduction
This alumina-silicon carbide castable series is engineered for hot metal ladle lips and torpedo car mouths where severe iron and slag erosion occurs. Manufactured from high-alumina aggregates, silicon carbide and special additives, the material is designed for monolithic casting without shrinkage at service temperatures, delivering high strength and good volume stability. It minimizes slag adhesion on ladle lips, and any adhered slag is easily removable. Available in three grades—JX-SK60 for ladle lips, JX-TBD65 for ladle bottom repair, and JX-YLK70 for torpedo car lining and mouth repair.
