    Introduction

Mixer furnaces store and homogenize hot metal while maintaining temperature, with linings subjected to direct iron erosion, thermal shock from heat radiation and mechanical vibration from tilting operations. This castable series is formulated with high-alumina aggregates and silicon carbide, designed for monolithic casting of working linings. Different grades are available for various zones—slag line, tap hole, roof and hearth—to match specific service conditions. Available in JH-YLK70-X and JH-TCK80-X grades with alumina content of 70% and 80% respectively.

    Key Advantages

    01
    High Strength & Erosion Resistance
Cold crushing strength reaches 40–50 MPa at 110℃ and 55–60 MPa at 1450℃, ensuring reliable performance under continuous iron flow and mechanical vibration.
    02
    Good Thermal Shock Stability
Withstands rapid temperature fluctuations during hot metal charging and tapping, preventing cracking and spalling under cyclic thermal stress.
    03
    Zone-Specific Grade Selection
Available in JH-YLK70-X and JH-TCK80-X grades with tailored alumina content (70–80%) and SiC+C content (5–5%) for optimal performance in different mixer zones.
