Introduction
Blast furnace casthouse castables are engineered for high-temperature service in main troughs, slag troughs and swing runners. Formulated with dense alumina, brown fused alumina and silicon carbide as primary raw materials, with special anti-oxidants and ultra-fine powder bonding. The material delivers excellent workability, good thermal shock stability and strong resistance against hot metal and slag attack. It does not adhere to slag or iron and is easy to dismantle. Available in three grades—JH-ZG-1, JH-ZG-2 and JH-XZG—to match different trough zones and service conditions. Successfully applied in large blast furnaces at Hebei Jingye Steel, Jiuquan Steel and other major steel mills.
