Introduction
Slag trough castables are engineered specifically for blast furnace slag handling systems where molten slag causes severe chemical and mechanical wear. Formulated with high-alumina aggregates, silicon carbide and special additives, the material delivers high strength at both low and high temperatures, excellent resistance to slag penetration and good thermal shock stability. Available in two grades—JH-TSG and JH-SG—with alumina content ≥60% and SiC+C content ranging from 15% to 18%, providing reliable performance in the most demanding slag trough conditions.
