Introduction
Blast furnace clay bricks are premium refractory products manufactured from high-purity refractory clays with strict iron oxide control. Through high-pressure forming and sintering at 1380–1400℃, the bricks develop a dense mullite-based microstructure. They exhibit low apparent porosity and minimal permanent linear change under load, preventing carbon deposition in pores that could cause expansion and loosening. These properties make them ideal for blast furnace linings where mechanical wear resistance and structural integrity are critical.
