Introduction
Blast furnace high alumina bricks are premium refractory products manufactured from high-quality bauxite chamotte with strict iron oxide control. Through high-pressure forming and sintering at temperatures above 1500℃, the bricks develop a dense structure with low apparent porosity. They exhibit high refractoriness up to 1790℃, high load softening temperature and excellent resistance to both acidic and basic slag attacks. These properties make them ideal for the lower stack, bosh and belly of blast furnaces where thermal and chemical conditions are most severe.
