Torpedo Car Bricks (Impact Zone, Pool & Slag Line)

Al₂O₃-SiC-C bricks engineered for torpedo car working linings. Manufactured from fused alumina, bauxite, silicon carbide and flake graphite. Available in grades for impact zone, pool and slag line. Offers excellent thermal shock resistance, strong slag corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength.

    Introduction

    Torpedo cars transport hot metal from blast furnaces to steelmaking shops, with linings subjected to severe thermal shock, slag corrosion and mechanical erosion. These Al₂O₃-SiC-C bricks are formulated for different wear zones: impact zone bricks resist falling iron impact; pool (iron line) bricks withstand molten iron erosion; slag line bricks resist chemical attack from aggressive slags. Manufactured from high-quality raw materials through high-pressure molding, they deliver extended service life and reliable performance.
